This was an entertaining play, love the throw back to the 2d dungeon crawlers, and the limited method of moving as well as the tight corners make for a hell of a ride. Cleared the Hardcore mode as well, am now curious what the ending means.

I wish I had left more clues so the story I planned could be more understandable and intriguing. I kind of fell into the "cryptic scary story" trap because I was really eager to release the game immediately after I had a working prototype.
its cool without strafe too. It might become way easier with strafe so its probably best the way it is. Strafing would ruin the surprise when you turn a corner and find an enemy right in your face.

This actually gives me enough to want to know more to be honest.
The true ending (which can only be the hardcore ending) is super interesting as its so different to what was presented in game.
Also love the art style!

Nice game. With the controls how they are you feel really boxed in, which makes it even creepier.
